Meet Cheryl Fauersø Nix, BS ed, ADN, LCSW

My work journey has involved a diverse career path, from education to nursing and ultimately social work, reflecting a rich combination of experiences. As someone in my late 60s, I have discovered that I don’t want to quit working. Lifelong learning is a passion of mine. My current focus is on supporting older adults through the challenges of grief, life transitions, and health changes. My insights from both the medical field and hospice work are especially valuable.

My concept of “Navigating the Older Adult Years” summarizes the complexity and variety of experiences that come with aging. I want to share my thoughts and struggles and possibly help others navigate this journey and find fulfillment in their later years. I think I still have opportunities to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.

My website title and emphasis on “Living Life Blooming” is my focus for a vibrant and positive approach to aging, encouraging individuals to make the most of this phase of life.

I hope to continue on a journey filled with discovery, growth, and the joy of making a positive impact in the lives of older adults…
